A Night in the Kremlin
Book by Bernard Besserglik
Music and lyrics by Bob Barton
Harpo Marx, arriving in Moscow in November 1933 as a good-will ambassador, rides to the rescue of a pair of star-crossed lovers after his interpreter’s fiancé is wrongfully accused of sabotage. His intervention leads to two encounters with Joseph Stalin and a riotous chase through the Kremlin. Songs, gags, thrills and spills. A political parable told in the manner of a Marx Brothers movie.
